Prof. dr. Nevad Kahteran, redovni profesor Filozofskog fakulteta UNSA, izabran za potpredsjednika američkog filozofskog društva komparativista

Prof. dr. Nevad Kahteran, redovni profesor Filozofskog fakulteta Univerziteta u Sarajevu, izabran je 14. 06. 2021. godine za potpredsjednika američkog filozofskog društva komparativista (Vice-President of the 2021-2024 term of CPWP's Executive Committee - International Society for Comparative Philosophy toward World philosophy), čiji su utemeljivači istaknuti filozofi-komparativisti, prof. dr. Bo Mou (San Jose State University, USA) i prof. dr. Xianglong Zhang (Peking University, China). 

 

Profesor Kahteran je koristio Fulbright-ov grant na University of Hawai'i-Mānoa, Honolulu, a bio je gostujući profesor i na University of Kyoto i Peking University. U finalnom akademskom zvanju je na matičnom Odsjeku za filozofiju Filozofskog fakulteta UNSA od 2013. godine gdje predaje Istočne (HIF 1 & 2) i Komparativnu filozofiju, pored ostalih predmeta

.

 

Nakon nominacije i potvrda izbora prof. dr. Nevada Kahterana za potpredsjednika američke asocijacije filozofa-komparativista (Vice President of the 2021-2024 term of CPWP's Executive Committee - International Society for Comparative Philosophy toward World philosophy), dana 14. 06. 2021. godine prof. dr. Bo Mou upućuje poruku:

 

Dear CPWP colleagues, 

We are pleased to report that Prof. Nevad Kahteran (University of Sarajevo, Bosnia, Europe) and Prof. Elizabeth Schiltz (College of Wooster, USA) have been elected respectively as Vice President and Secretary-Treasurer of the 2021-2024 term of CPWP's Executive Committee.

Thank you, all the colleagues who have sent your votes, for your kind support and trust. 

 

Now all the main things in the CPWP establishment process have been fulfilled smoothly and efficiently within the scheduled timeline in the past two months (much more than expected in some substantial connections). The first term of the CPWP Executive Committee is to formally start its term on 1 July 2021 and end on 30 June 2024. 

 

At this moment, we would like to share something more personal with you, which is related to the CPWP establishment and its strategy...
