The University of Sarajevo Music Academy announces the 2020/2021 Concert Season

At the beginning of the school year, the Music Academy, University of Sarajevo announces a new, 2020/2021 Concert Season as part of its artistic production. Teachers, associates, students and friends of the Academy once again conceived dozens of concert events this year, which, despite the pandemic conditions, will maintain the continuity of the life of art music in Sarajevo and other cities in BiH.

With this, the Music Academy responsibly continues its activity as the most active organizer of art music concerts in Sarajevo, but also in BiH, which annually produces and presents to the public about 50 concerts of individual artists, chamber ensembles, orchestras, choirs, along with other artistic and scientific public projects.

The 2020/2021 concert season will be officially opened on Friday, 23 October at the Dom Armije, starting at 19:00 with a concert by the best students of instrumental departments, and the department of composition and solo singing.

The upcoming concerts will present to the audience the artistic work of professors, students and guests of the Academy, as well as the Academy's vocal and instrumental ensembles.
As the current epidemiological situation does not allow gatherings of more than thirty people indoors, only a small number of music lovers, in compliance with the mandatory measures, will have the opportunity to attend live concerts. Precisely because of that, the Music Academy is preparing a parallel program of the Concert Season on an online platform, which will make the achievements of our top musicians available to the widest audience.

Information about the dates and links of the concerts will be distributed through the media, and the official website of the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo and its social media.
