The 4th South East Europe and the Western Balkans Rectors’ Forum at the University of Montenegro

Četvrti rektorski forum jugoistočne Evrope i zapadnog Balkana održava se na Univerzitetu Crne Gore

The 4th South East Europe and the Western Balkans Rectors’ Forum attended by rectors and representatives of around 30 regional universities is taking place today at the University of Montenegro.
At the Forum will be discussed current topics that will enable the development of higher education, science and arts, research and transfer of knowledge, as well as a defined plan of strengthening academic integrity. Current issues that are important for the work and development of universities at the regional level will also be considered.
Discussions will also be held on the Berlin Process, which aims to support the peaceful, stable and democratic future of the Western Balkans and advance regional cooperation and Euro-integration of the region, within which the V Conference will be organized in May 2019 in London.
After the First Rectors' Forum held in Novi Sad, the process of establishing the Union of South East European and Western Balkans University was launched. At the Second Rectors’ Forum, the University Declaration was signed in Zagreb. The Third Forum of Participants was also signed by the Academic Inter-Institutional Agreement on Cooperation, which aims to improve mutual cooperation between the members of the Rector's Forum. This Interinstitutional Agreement replaces bilateral agreements between signatories thereof.
