UNSA Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies Students Visited the Sarajevo Correctional Institution

Second-year students of Criminology and fourth-year students of Criminalistics, accompanied by subject teachers Prof. Dr. Marija Lučić-Ćatić and Prof. Dr. Darko Datzer, visited the Sarajevo Correctional Institution on 11 December 2024. During this visit, the students had the opportunity to learn about the work of the treatment, admission and discharge departments, and to talk to the management and prisoners. This visit allowed them to gain a deeper insight into the processes of resocialization and everyday challenges within the correctional system. In addition, they discussed security procedures, rehabilitation and the importance of inter-institutional cooperation, and they also visited various departments of the Institution. We are proud of our students who, through such opportunities, develop practical skills and expand their knowledge! The Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies expresses its gratitude to the employees of the Institute, led by Director Munib Isaković, and continues to organize such visits in order to provide students with the highest quality education through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
