Open door of the Dental Faculty with clinics held

Within the University of Sarajevo’s enrolment promotion activities in 2019/2020, on 29 March, 2019, the Faculty of Dental Medicine with Clinics organized the Open Door Day, under the slogan “Be what you are, study what you want”.  The event started by introductory address delivered by Prof. Dr. Mirjana Gojkov Vukelić, Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Studies, after which students and student service representatives spoke with high school students.
After that followed a meeting and a conversation with Prof. Dr. Gojkov Vukelić in the Faculty’s multimedia hall, where future students asked a number of questions related to the enrollment method s, study conditions etc., after which they visited the Faculty with the Vice-Dean for the Undergraduate Studies and Studentist Student Association representatives.
Future students visited a student hall at the Department of Dental Pathology and Endodontics where were practical activities taking place, then a preclinical hall at the Department of Dental Pathology and Endodontics where models were placed for preparing students to work with patients. As part of the visit to the Faculty, they also visited the student hall at the Department of Children's and Preventive Dentistry and the student hall at the Department of Prosthetics with Dental Implantology where they were student exercises underway. During the visit, high school students received answers to a number of questions related to teaching at the Faculty.
The tour was completed by visiting a new, renovated, amphitheater of the Faculty of Dentistry with clinics.
