Faculty of Pedagogy is of Special Public Interest

University of Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj and Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović visited the Faculty of Pedagogy on 17 June 2020, where they met with the Dean, Doz. Dr. Daniel Maleč.
The meeting ‘s purpose was the discussion of topics related to the reform processes and integration of the University, the development of the Faculty of Pedagogy, as well as research and its improvement.
The Faculty of Pedagogy functions as a higher education institution in accordance with modern educational tendencies in the world, European standards in education of educators and development needs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as its indigenous cultural values. During the meeting it was pointed out that the activities of the Faculty of Pedagogy are of special public interest.
The Faculty of Education provides various forms of lifelong learning in the field of preschool education, primary education, culture of living and technical education, special education, rehabilitation and inclusion with the aim of improving the quality of educational work in the reformed primary school. This Faculty is continuously working to achieve high quality in the education of students, future educators, teachers and teachers, who based on the acquired learning outcomes will be ready to respond to all challenges of their profession in modern society and be the driving force of BiH progress and community development where they work.
