Cooperation between the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana and the Faculty of Forestry, University of Sarajevo
Assistant Professor Mr. Mateja Kregar Tršar from the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, Department of Landscape Architecture, together with Prof. Dr. Sead Vojniković, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, Faculty of Forestry, University of Sarajevo, Doz. Dr. Emir Hukić, Faculty of Forestry, University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Sanel Klarić, International Burch University in Sarajevo and Doz. Dr. Dino Hadžidervišagić, Faculty of Forestry, University of Sarajevo, met on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, with the UNSA Vice-Rectors, Prof. Dr. Aida Hodžić and Prof. Dr. Maida Čohodar-Husić.
During the meeting, the successful academic cooperation between the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana and the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Sarajevo was highlighted, and concrete steps were taken to improve cooperation between the Department of Landscape Architecture of the Biotechnical Faculty in Ljubljana and the Department of Horticulture at the Faculty of Forestry in Sarajevo, as well as the possibilities better exchange of students and teachers within different European programs and projects. It was also considered the possibility of establishing interdisciplinary studies for landscape architecture and horticulture where students from the region would be taught, with full support from the University, as well as previous activities in terms of applications to international projects.
Within the visit of Doz. Mr. Mateja Kregar Tršar at the Faculty of Forestry and lecture titled “Steps to a better perception of space” was held and after that the opening of the exhibition of the drawings of the mentioned author under the title "Space in the eye of the landscape architect", with 41 drawings. Interested visitors they could get acquainted with the work of Doz. Mr. Mateje Kregar Tršar. The mentioned activities were included in the official calendar of the University as part of the activities planned for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the University of Sarajevo.
