FOOD - NUTRITION – HEALTH Student Congress
The student Congress FOOD-NUTRITION-HEALTH is traditionally organized for the fourth time at the University of Sarajevo, aiming to promote universal community values and multidisciplinary approach in food production, its hygienic status and quality, different ways of nutrition, as well as possible health implications for humans. This will be of utmost importance in addressing major issues in this area of life. This approach to addressing this complex issue, through multidisciplinarity, is also the contemporary trend of the European nation in finding the most rational answers to numerous questions in almost all spheres of social life and activity.
Students of the Medical, Natural-Mathematical, Biotechnical Sciences Group and Humanities will participate in the Congress organization. The Coordination and Organizing Committee has defined topics that will be the subject of research and student papers, related to the following areas:
1. Primary production and processing of food;
2. Toxicology and food safety;
3. Modern food diagnostics and analytics;
4. Nutrition over the life cycle;
5. Diet therapy;
The Congress will be held from 20 to 22 November 2019, in addition to University of Sarajevo students, students from other BH Universities, as well as students from universities from neighboring countries are expected to participate.
