Visit of 3rd year students from the Department of Security to the Special Police Unit of the FUP

On Tuesday, 6 November, students of the III year from the Department of Security and Peace Studies, UNSA Faculty of Political Sciences visited the Federal Police Administration - the Special Police Unit in Sarajevo. The visit was organized as part of the realization of the course “Criminalistics” with the primary goal of familiarizing students with the life and work of the Special Police Unit, all in the function of improving the cooperation of the police and citizens in the prevention of all forms of crime.
The unit's commander and his aides introduced the students with the place and role of the unit, its specific tasks and tasks, training, equipment and weapons. A demonstration of some skills and knowledge by unit members was organized, as well as several exercises.
The visit ended with the joint photography and the conclusion that this type of communication and cooperation is very welcome and useful, both to the police officers, and to the students, and that today's visit to many of them was helpful in terms of easier learning of the teaching process, but also a clearer a certain professional orientation.
