The Logistics Day 2024 was held on 05/12/2024, organized by the University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Transport and Communications and GS1 Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The event brought together leading experts in the field of logistics, representatives of the economy, academia and the public sector. A special honor was the presence of Mr. Edin Forto, Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who, in his speech, further emphasized the importance of such events and the need for modernization and development of logistics systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In addition to interesting presentations as part of the Logistics Day, a student Hackathon was also held where young innovators presented their solutions for real logistics challenges posed by companies participating in the Logistics Day. After the presentation of the solutions, the audience voted, after which the winners were announced and valuable prizes were awarded.
The event program was rich and diverse, with expert lectures, presentations of student solutions within the DTL Hackathon 2024 and discussions on key topics such as digitalization of logistics processes, sustainability and improvement of supply chains. The atmosphere was inspiring, and all participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas that contribute to the development of logistics in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Logistics Day 2024 further emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation between the private sector, academia and government institutions. Participants agreed that it is necessary to invest in the education of future experts and develop innovative solutions that will enable more efficient logistics and supply chain management. This event showed that Bosnia and Herzegovina has the potential to become a leader in the region in the implementation of modern logistics technologies and practices.
