Certificates Awarded to UNSA TRAIN Program Participants

Today at the UNSA Rectorate, a certificate award ceremony was held for participants of the second cycle of the Lifelong Learning Program in the field of pedagogical education and strengthening the competencies of academic staff of the University of Sarajevo (TRAIN) in the academic 2023/2024 year.
The right to a certificate was achieved by 11 participants in this Program, which is intended for academic staff of the University of Sarajevo in associate/teaching positions and is aligned with European standards in the field of higher education, and enables the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competencies in the areas of teaching, research and communication skills.
The certificates were handed by Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sandra Bjelan, Academic Manager of the TRAIN program, and Prof. Dr. Dušanka Bošković, Vice-Rector for Quality at the University of Sarajevo.
Prof. Dr. Sandra Bjelan took this opportunity to thank the leadership of the University of Sarajevo for their long-standing support, which is not just declarative but essential, as she stated, and congratulated the participants on becoming part of the TRAIN network, through which they will be able to achieve quality cooperation.
Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović also congratulated the participants and emphasized the importance of professional development of teaching and non-teaching staff for the University. This is also recognized in the Statute of the University of Sarajevo, which states the Office for Support to Professional Development of Staff, which will have an umbrella role for all teaching and non-teaching staff development programs.
