The meeting of University of Sarajevo and the International Islamic University of Malaysia Rectors

Professor Emeritus Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, Rector of the International Islamic University of Malaysia, visited the University of Sarajevo on Thursday, 18 April 2019, where he had a meeting with UNSA Rector Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolić, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, and Prof. Dr. Aid Smajić, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and Alumni of the International Islamic University of Malaysia.
During the meeting, the importance of internationalization and international relations, the importance of sustainable development goals, and inter-university cooperation were discussed. The possibility of academic cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and the International Islamic University of Malaysia was considered, and it was emphasized that certain forms of cooperation such as guest lectures and lectures of professors of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the International Islamic University were already realized.
