Invitation to researchers to submit data for the online research database of the University of Sarajevo

UNIGERC

University and Gender Mainstreaming (UNIGEM) is a project that TPO Foundation from Sarajevo implements from 2021 to 2025, with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom, with the aim to prevent and fight against gender-based violence, discrimination and sexual harassment and to ensure integrity and quality in higher education.

The project stands for the strategic commitment of 19 partner universities and their dedication - via introduction of gender perspective – to ensure gender equality and a safe environment for teaching staff and students at universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region (Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia). Among the important goals of this project is to strengthen the capacity of teaching staff in the field of gender equality, to make the existing curricula and programs more gender sensitive, and as well, to prevent gender-based violence.

As part of the UNIGEM project, the University Gender Resource Center (UNIGeRC) of the University of Sarajevo was established. On its website (https://unigerc.unsa.ba/), there will be soon available a database of researchers from the University of Sarajevo who work in the field of gender studies. The goal of establishing this database is to make research works more visible and to facilitate connections among researchers from BiH, the region and the world. The database will be placed under the title "Research work", and it will be available at https://unigerc.unsa.ba/istrazivacki-rad.

Hereby, we would like to ask the deans and managers of all organizational units (OJ) of the University of Sarajevo to present this information on the ongoing preparations for establishing an online database to the members of their OJs and to invite all persons, who are interested in adding data about themselves and their scientific and research work to the aforementioned database, to send the following to the e-address unigerc@unsa.ba:

- name and surname
- status (teaching staff / research staff / non-teaching staff)
- e-address
- home faculty
- scientific & research area

- photo (if a person wants his/her photo to be published in the database)
- short CV (‘blurb’) and
- a link for his/her profile in the Google Scholar database

Please, note that the subject of the email should state: Ime i prezime - za online bazu.
