Call for applications for projects and business ideas for the third season of the SBF Start-up Challenge
BBI Bank and TV Hayat invite all young people with business ideas to apply for the SBF Start-up Challenge
After two very successful seasons of the Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) Start-up Challenge, Bosna Bank International d.d. Sarajevo and Hayat Television invite young people from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, up to the age of 35, to apply for the new, third season of the TV competition in presenting the business idea “SBF Start-up Challenge”.
The business plan published for the SBF Start-up Challenge may be in the development phase of ideas or existing start-ups, which will be registered in the last 12 months, i.e. during 2019 or 2020. The competition of teams and the presentation of business ideas, i.e. business plans, are performed in front of the audience and the jury and will be broadcast on Hayat TV.
The application deadline for the first round of the competition is 10 October 2020. Applications should be sent to e-mail: SBFtakmicenje@sarajevobusinessforum.com.
The organizers provided a wealth of prize money tailored to the winning business plan. In the previous seasonal prize funds, it amounts to 40,000 BAM per show for the winners in the first season, while this fund was around 150000 BAM for the winning teams in the second season. The SBF Start-Up Challenge has now successfully realized eight shows in two seasons on TV Hayat, with one special show from the 10th SBF. In the 1st season, three shows were realized, while in the 2nd season, 5 shows were realized. A total of 24 teams from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina took part in the competition. The winning teams have now succeeded, successfully registered companies and started promotional offers, service and products, support for starting a business in addition to Bosna Bank International and TV Hayat for the competition for the first two seasons provided by the Mozaik Foundation, Youth Employment Project - YEP! supported by the Swiss Embassy in BiH and implemented by GOPA - Representative Office in BiH, RSG Media Group, Studomat.ba, Mastercard, Foundation 787 and others.
