The third annual EUPeace Conference will take place from 28-30 September 2026 at the University of Calabria in Rende, Italy. This year’s conference will address the growing complexity of global warming and its implications for peace, solidarity, and equity across Europe, exploring the topic of Global warming and its impact: connections with emerging conflicts, migrations, and health issues.
One of the highlights of the conference will be the potential role of AI-based tools in supporting analysis, decision-making, and evidence-informed policies to respond to the profound challenges of global warming.

The conference is organised around the four thematic EUPeace Research Hubs:
Research Hub ‘Climate Science and Just Transition’
Research Hub ‘Migration and Human Rights’
Research Hub ‘Inclusive Health and Well-Being’
Sessions will explore several topics with special attention to transforming research-into-teaching and research-based teaching through keynote lectures, panel discussions, and parallel sessions.
