POLICY ENLARGE Opens New Opportunities for Regional Cooperation in Research and Innovation

POLICY ENLARGE otvara nove mogućnosti za regionalnu saradnju u istraživanju i inovacijama

Within the framework of the Horizon Europe project POLICY ENLARGE – R&I Policy Support for Enlargement Countries, a call has been opened for funding activities aimed at strengthening regional cooperation in the field of research and innovation. The POLICY ENLARGE project contributes to the alignment of national and regional research, innovation, and education policies in countries covered by the European Union enlargement process, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The call is open from 9 September 2026 to 3 May 2028, with four evaluation deadlines for applications: 12 November 2026, 5 May 2027, 3 November 2027, and 3 May 2028.

Support is available through three funding instruments: Joint Regional Innovation Actions, Collaborative Uptake of Results, and People-to-People Cooperation Projects. For the first two instruments, grants of up to EUR 8,000 per project are available, while mobility projects can receive up to EUR 5,000. The maximum amount per individual partner is EUR 4,000. Funding covers up to 80% of the total budget, with at least 20% required to be secured through co-financing.

Applications must be submitted in English via the OnePass platform.

The deadline for the first round of application evaluations is 12 November 2026.

This call represents an opportunity for researchers and innovators from Bosnia and Herzegovina to develop new solutions through joint regional activities, utilize existing research results, and strengthen cooperation and mobility with partner institutions from other countries involved in the POLICY ENLARGE: Support for R&I policy making in the EU enlargement countries – enlargement-infohub.eu.
