Federal Minister of Education and Science Visits the University of Sarajevo

The Federal Minister of Education and Science, Prof. Dr. Jasna Duraković, paid a working visit to the University of Sarajevo today, where she held discussions with Rector Prof. Dr. Tarik Zaimović.

The meeting focused on strategically important topics for the development of higher education in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular emphasis on continuing activities related to the construction of the University Campus in Sarajevo, a project of exceptional significance for the academic community and society as a whole.

They also discussed strengthening the newly established Department for the Bosnian Language at the University of Istanbul, which further affirms the international presence of the Bosnian language and culture.

This visit once again confirms the commitment of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science to contribute to strengthening institutional capacities, improving the quality of teaching and research, and enhancing the international recognition of Bosnian-Herzegovinian education through dialogue and cooperation with the academic community.
