University of Sarajevo Faculty of Economics launches the EFSA BLOG

With the beginning of the new academic year, the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo brings novelties. As part of the EFSA marketing strategy 2020–2022, the website of the Faculty www.efsa.unsa.ba was redesigned, within which the EFSA BLOG was launched.

The blog is conceived as a short commentary text in which the author presents personal expert views and opinions on current topics in economics. The EFSA BLOG is planned to be an online platform for the teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics, for regular commenting on current economic events. We believe that in this way we will more actively involve our Faculty in the public discourse on current economic topics.

This year has brought completely unexpected challenges for all of us. The COVID-19 virus has affected all of us, both professionally and privately. We know that the challenges we face are numerous and varied, in addition to the health risks posed by the virus. Very quickly, we all accepted new ways of working, communicating with students, conducting classes and exams. Although distant, we remained connected. This isolation reminded us that together we can overcome all the challenges that lie ahead.

The blog is planned to be published once a month (every second Monday of the month), and we recommend the first EFSA BLOG called “Higher Education during the Pandemic”, whose author is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Jasmina Selimović.
