Day of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Sarajevo Celebrated

The challenges and temptations of the pandemic that afflicted us bring us a different life and work environment, which is why the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Sport and Physical Education’s Day was celebrated in a different way.

On April 15, the Day of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education and the Army Day of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina were reminders for the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education who stated along with congratulations the following: “We pay special respect to students of the Faculty and those who gave their lives to defend the homeland of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We did this in a possible way, where few delegation of the Faculty, following the measures of the competent, laid flowers on the Memorial to the martyrs and martyrs in front of the Faculty building.”

An electronic session of the Faculty Council was also conducted through video communication, at which it also paid tribute to all deceased employees, and reviewed the history of the Faculty, various stages of its work and activity, the period of aggression, devastation and renewal. In addition to Dean, Prof. Dr. Haris Alić, the discussion was attended by teachers who were members of the Army of BiH and senior teachers, all with the aim of preserving everything that has happened to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education from oblivion.
