The University of Sarajevo in the Next Two Years Should Get the Most Modern Library in the Region

The Annex 4 of the Agreement on the University Library Construction and Equipping Project in the University of Sarajevo Campus, signed on 30 March 2018 by the Cantonal Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Prof. Dr. Elvir Kazazović and University of Sarajevo Rector Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj plans to allocate 1,000,000 BAM from the KS Budget for the implementation of this project.

The project us financed by the Saudi Development Fund, which has provided approx. $ 17 million for the Library construction and equipping.

The Sarajevo Canton in cooperation with UNSA participates in the implementation of all necessary project activities for which Sarajevo Canton allocates funds the cantonal budget each year.

The architectural design of the library was based on the new UNSA Campus Master Plan which foresees this facility on its eastern side, near the United States Embassy.
