Meeting of Süleyman Demirel University Rector and University of Sarajevo Rector

Intensification of cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and Süleyman Demirel University of Isparta (Republic of Turkey) was the topic of the meeting between Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, University of Sarajevo Rector and Prof. Dr. İlker Hüseyin Çarikçi, Süleyman Demirel University Rector held on 23 June 2022.

During the meeting, the successful academic cooperation so far was highlighted, and concrete steps to improve cooperation were discussed, as well as the possibilities for better exchange of students and teachers within various European programs and projects.

In 2021, the University of Sarajevo and Süleyman Demirel University signed an Agreement on Academic Cooperation with the aim of promoting academic, educational and cultural cooperation between the two institutions.

At the meeting, openness was expressed for intensifying cooperation, and it was pointed out that there are numerous opportunities for its improvement, such as mobility of students and teachers, organization of joint study programs, and joint activities in the field of education and research.
