Continue integrating media and information literacy in the KS education system

On 6 July 2020, the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Sarajevo Canton, Anis Krivić, and his associates held a meeting with Siniša Šešum, Head of the UN Office for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO), Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo Dean, Sead Turčalo and Emir Vajzović, head of the Institute for Social Research, Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo.
The topic of the meeting was media and information literacy as key and umbrella competencies in the digital age, i.e. how and in what way to strategically approach media and information literacy, digital learning and social cohesion in Sarajevo Canton. Minister Krivić thanked UNESCO for the support it provides to educational institutions in the Sarajevo Canton and suggested concretizing cooperation in accordance with the needs of the educational community.
Further continuous cooperation on work and preparation for the integration of media and information literacy into the education system in Sarajevo Canton has been agreed.
