Walking and creating the University of Sarajevo Campus herbarium
Walking and creating herbarium of the UNSA Campus is part of the SCIENTIFIC POPULAR CONFERENCE - AREA OF CONNECTIVITY that will be held on 27 October 2018 in the open space on the University of Sarajevo Campus southwestern edge. The start of the meeting is planned at 10:45. This gathering is part of the program effort to open the University and Campus space to the population, organized civil society and local communities, and to bring educational and scientific work closer to the local community.
The connection area is organized by the Association for Culture and Art Red in cooperation with the University of Sarajevo and with the local academic and artistic community.
The aim of the workshop is to introduce participants to this fund through a practical practice of collecting herbs.
By collecting herbarium, the participants will learn to recognize and distinguish the types of trees that are often encountered in the City of Sarajevo. We will pay attention to their origin and functional characteristics, and the general importance of greenery in the urban environment.
The workshop is intended for all persons older than 16 years old who are interested in getting familiar with plant species.
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 20 persons.
