The first online competition in the field of programming and software development in BiH

The Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo provides the opportunity to quickly obtain world-renowned certificates in programming

The Department of Management and Information Technology of the Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo and the company QSS are organizing the First Online Competition in the field of programming and software development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The competition aims to enable students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina who have knowledge in programming to obtain world-renowned certificates as a confirmation of their competencies and skills, which will enable them to find a job easier. Namely, all participants in the competition will have the opportunity to gain valuable Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certificates and thus become recognized experts in the field. In addition, the best competitors will win prizes from the competition organization's partners: QSS, KPMG, ProCredit Bank, Mercator, Vivax, and Partner Microcredit Organization.

The competition will be held online, on Wednesday, June 24 at 12:00 p.m. The certificates covered by the competition are:

  • 98-383: MTA: Introduction to Programming using HTML and CSS
  • 98-382: MTA: Introduction to Programming using JavaScript
  • 98-375: MTA: HTML5 Application Development Fundamentals
  • 98-388: MTA: Introduction to Programming using Java
  • 98-361: MTA: Software Development Fundamentals
  • 98-381: MTA: Introduction to Programming using Python

The application deadline is June 22, and it is important to note that the number of places is limited. Registered candidates will receive details about online access to the exam by e-mail on 23 June 2020.
