Delegations from the Faculty of Traffic and Communications of the University of Sarajevo, led by the dean Prof. Dr. Amel Kosovac, and BH Pošte d.o.o. Sarajevo, led by director Adis Šehić, visited Croatian Post. The host of this important visit was the president of the Croatian Post Management Board, Ivan Čulo, together with his colleagues.

The visit was an excellent opportunity for conducting productive conversations and exchanging ideas on improving and strengthening future cooperation between three important institutions, with special emphasis on common interests and development opportunities. The focus of the conversation was on the improvement of logistics processes, digitization and the development of joint projects in the field of education and research.

Innovations in logistics for the modern age
One of the key topics of discussion was the transformation of Croatian Post through its National Warehouse and Sorting Center, located at Poštanska Street 9 in Velika Gorica. This modern facility, opened in 2019, represents the most modern logistics center in this part of Europe.
The center covers an area of 38,200 m2 and includes a sorting room, high-bay warehouse, postal and parcel logistics, IT and data center, and business support. This infrastructure enables efficient satisfaction of e-commerce requirements and positions Croatian Post as a leader in regional logistics and delivery.
Perspectives of future cooperation
Delegations from the Faculty of Transport and Communications of UNSA, BH Post and Croatian Post discussed the possibilities of implementing joint research projects, exchanging knowledge and experience, and improving cooperation through innovative initiatives and technological projects.

The cooperation will be focused on the modernization of logistics and the education of new personnel in accordance with the latest trends in the sector.
This visit marks a key step forward in strengthening regional cooperation and developing the postal logistics sector. The demonstrated readiness for dialogue and exchange of ideas provides a solid foundation for future projects and joint initiatives, thereby opening up space for further progress and innovation.
