University of Sarajevo Participates in Erasmus+ WE-MIND Workshops at the Porto Accounting and Business School
Representatives of the University of Sarajevo and members of the project team—Teaching Assistant Emina Sinanović, MA, Prof. Sibela Zvizdić, PhD, Prof. Minka Džanko, PhD, and undergraduate student Nina Trbić participated in an international workshop held within the Erasmus+ project WE-MIND – Advancing Mental Health and Innovation in Western Balkans Higher Education Through Digital Transformation. The workshop took place in Porto in a hybrid format and brought together project partners from several European countries. Teaching Assistant Emina Sinanović, Prof. Minka Džanko, and student Nina Trbić attended the workshop in person in Porto, while Prof. Sibela Zvizdić participated online from Sarajevo.
Over the course of the three-day workshop, participants worked through interactive formats to shape the concept of a digital mental health support platform for students: from reviewing existing solutions and user needs to defining key functionalities and drafting initial mockups. The workshop resulted in the finalisation of the platform concept, which will serve as the basis for its further development within the WE-MIND project.
WE-MIND is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project aimed at strengthening student mental health support systems by enhancing mental health literacy and promoting the use of digital solutions in higher education across the Western Balkans. The project focuses on the development of an innovative digital mental health platform, the integration of mental health topics into higher education curricula, and the delivery of capacity-building programmes for academic staff and professionals through the Training of Trainers (ToT) approach.
The project is coordinated by RIT Kosovo (A.U.K.) College, and the consortium consists of the following partner institutions:
