Professor Emeritus Prof. Hidajet Repovac Passed Away

University of Sarajevo professor emeritus, Hidajet Repovac passed away in Sarajevo on 27 November 2018.
Hidajet Repovac was born in 1945 in Sarajevo. He graduated from, received his MA and PhD from the Sociology Department, University of Sarajevo Faculty of Political Sciences. From 1992 to 1995, he served as UNSA Faculty of Political Sciences Dean, giving a special contribution to its preservation and work during the war.
In the most difficult war circumstances (1993), he launched the establishment of the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies at the University of Sarajevo, and was its professor and dean from 2001 to 2006.
He participated in the founding of the “Krug 99” independent intellectuals group, and chaired it.
Commemorative Session in honor of Prof. Dr. Hidajet Repovac will be held at the UNSA Faculty of Political Sciences Amphitheater, on Thursday, 29 November 2018, at 11.
