Music Academy Students Participated in the "Diaspora for Work (D4D)" Project

Studenti Muzičke akademije učestvovali u projektu „Dijaspora za rad (D4D)“

Students of the Department of String Instruments and Guitar, Academy of Music , University of Sarajevo participated in the winter semester of 2018/2019 academic year in the project “Diaspora for Work (D4D)” organized by the Government of Switzerland and the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees, in partnership with UNDP BiH and IOM.
The D4D project actually includes the work of students with artists with BH roots who currently live and work abroad.
In the period from 22 October to 3 November 2018, students of violin and chamber music had the opportunity to work with Prof. Renato Kamhi. The students showed enthusiasm, interest in work, and they took new ideas and advice from prof. After the completion of the seminar, they all showed a lot of progress.
Sanel Redžić, a renowned guitarist, held a seminar for guitar students from 21 to 29t December 2018. Students had the opportunity to learn not only about the guitar repertoire, but also about the work on transcriptions of compositions that were not originally written for guitar. Students of violin, guitar and chamber music had the opportunity to present their progress by participating in the final concert.
