Meeting of University of Sarajevo Students Parliament representatives and the UNSA International Cooperation Service: Intensification of activities in the field of international cooperation

In order to intensify activities in the field of international cooperation at the University of Sarajevo and greater involvement of students in the internationalization process, a meeting of representatives of the Student Parliament of the University of Sarajevo (SPUS) and the International Cooperation Service of the University of Sarajevo was held on 22 March 22, 2021.
The meeting was attended by the newly elected president of SPUS, Faruk Dević, and the president of the commission for international cooperation of SPUS, Iris Starčević. On behalf of the Service for International Cooperation, the Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Enita Nakaš, Dr. Sci. Jasna Bošnjović and Adnan Rahimić, MSc from the International Cooperation Office attended the meeting.
The current state of cooperation was discussed at the meeting, as well as the need for student bodies to be more connected with the Service for International Cooperation. The active participation of the student association is a mandatory part of internationalization activities, such as mobility programs, participation in webinars and interaction with foreign students who come to study at our university.
By initiating this meeting, SPUS representatives indicated their readiness to involve the student body in the work of international cooperation, in accordance with the UNSA internationalization strategy 2018/19-2022/23, especially in connecting UNSA with partner universities across Europe and participation in various mobility programs and cooperation.
