The Government of Japan provided funding for developmental project at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo

On Monday, 10 February 2020, an Agreement was signed between the Embassy of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the UNSA Faculty of Philosophy to support equipment for teaching Japanese language and culture at the UNSA Faculty of Philosophy.

The Agreement was signed by H. E. Hideyuki Sakamoto, Ambassador of Japan to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Prof. Dr. Muhamed Dželilović, Faculty of Philosophy Dean. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, University of Sarajevo Rector and Doz. Dr. Amir Duranović, Vice-Dean for International Work and Research at the Faculty of Philosophy.

The project of introducing Japanese language and culture is a developmental project of the Faculty of Philosophy, and many citizens of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina have for many years been able to attend a Japanese language course being realized at the UNSA Faculty of Philosophy.
