Faculty of Political Sciences Students Visited the Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired Persons

The master study of the Department of Journalism Communication Studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo freshmen within the subject Introduction to Mediology, visited the Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired Persons in BiH on 14 November 2019.

Students and subject assistant Mr. Sc. Enita Čustović were welcomed and guided through the Library by director Sakib Pleh, and Sanela Osmanagić, assistant director and editor of the Library's edition for the blind and partially sighted. In a pleasant and friendly environment, the Director spoke to students about the need for the creation, the work and the specifics of its activities, and the importance of this library for the blind and visually impaired, as well as for the Bosnian society. The students were then guided through all library parts, the archive, the audio recording room, and were shown the museum part of the Library, and had the opportunity to try reading and writing texts for the Library's needs themselves.
The visit was marked as the beginning of a nice cooperation for mutual satisfaction, and the students brought beautiful experiences from visiting a unique institution of culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
