Faculty of Mechanical Engineering teaching personnel visited the Catholic University of Lille, France

From 4 to 8 March 2019, teaching staff members of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, attended the International Seminar on Internationalization, Innovation and Sustainable Development at the Catholic University of Lille, France as part of the Erasmus+ academic exchange.
The seminar was attended by:

• Prof. Dr. Maida Čohodar Husić - University of Sarajevo Vice-Rector and a member of the Department of Mechanical Production Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo
• Prof. Dr. Đerzija Begić Hajdarević - Vice Dean for Finance, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, and a member of the Department of Mechanical Production Engineering
• Doz. Dr. Adnan Mašić - Head of the Department of Mathematics and Physics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo
• Prof. Dr. Hadis Bajrić - Member of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo
• Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Busuladžić - member of the Department of Wood Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo
• Doz. Dr. Adis Muminović - Member of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo
• Dr. Zlata Jelačić - Member of the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo.

At the seminar were gathered 23 universities from all over the world and dealt with topics of internationalization, innovation, sustainable development, cultural exchanges and innovative teaching methods. In addition to exchanging experiences, content presentations and useful workshops, members of teaching staff at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, took the opportunity to visit the School of Engineering at the mentioned university and TechShop as a place where students can work on the practical realization of their projects.

This visit continued good cooperation with the Catholic University of Lille and opened the door for further cooperation through exchange of students and teaching staff. Professors of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering met with students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering who currently reside at the mentioned university and who have achieved notable results, which are certainly a compliment and the best promotion of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo, but also motivation for other students to decide for international cooperation. 

University of Sarajevo Faculty of Mechanical Engineering teaching staff members had the opportunity to establish contacts with professors and administrative staff from universities from Japan, China, India, Mexico, Germany, Belgium, Finland, Cyprus, Turkey, as well as the surrounding countries. Of course, the visit was also used to visit the city of Lille and the surrounding cities of France and Belgium.
