Exhibition of UNSA Academy of Fine Arts Student Art Works

As part of the 71st anniversary of the University of Sarajevo’s celebration activities, an exhibition of art works by the UNSA Academy of Fine Arts students was traditionally organized in the Rectorate.
Works of 15 authors - representative students from their classes are presented at the exhibition: Amir Ahmed Lutvikadić (Graphics Department), Hana Hurem (Sculpture Department), Elma Nukić (Graphic Design), Selma Zimić Graphics Department), Ana Milijević (Painting Department), Kemil Bekteši (Painting Department), Berina V (Sculpture Department), Dunja Topalović (Product Design), Azim Mandžuka (Graphic Design), Emina Lagumdžija (Graphic Design), Kasim Kajdić (Teacher Department), Emina Škaljić Graphic Design), Mediha Džambegović (Product Design), Anja Stergar (Graphic Design) design), Amila Bajrić (Teacher's Department).
On the occasion of marking the 48th Academy of Fine Arts’ Anniversary, on 30 October, the Annual ALU Exhibition was organized. Final year students from all six departments - Teacher, Painting, Graphics, Sculpture, Graphic Design and Product Design, presented works created in the past academic year 2019/2020.
The annual ALU exhibition, on the one hand, showed the heterogeneity of artistic methods, ways and actions that marked the previous academic year. On the other hand, this year's exhibition testifies that thanks to the commitment, collegiality and good practice, students and teachers of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo remain creative and innovative despite external circumstances and changed working conditions.
As part of the exhibition, the traditional award ceremony for the best student work ‘Alija Kučukalić’ was organized. The award was founded in 1997 and named in memory of a prominent Bosnian artist, cultural worker and professor at the Department of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts, Alija Kučukalić (1937-1992). This year's winner is a student from the Department of Product Design - Mediha Džambegović.
