Academy of Music Art Associate Fuad Šetić, MA appointed a member of the jury of the international competition International Orchestra Auditions Awards

Fuad Šetić, MA, an artistic associate at the Department of Conducting at the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo, was appointed a member of the jury at the International Orchestra Auditions Awards organized by the Samnium University of Music in Solopace, Benevento (Italy) and Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg (Austria). The jury is composed of experts and talented internationally recognized musicians, and was appointed by the Art Committee of Samnium International University of Music.

The International Orchestra Auditions Awards competition is intended for orchestral musicians over the age of 18 and offers 60 scholarships totaling $ 90,000, for the purpose of forming the Samnium Symphony Orchestra. In June 2021, as part of the European tour, this orchestra will perform in Italy and Austria, where it will play in the Vienna Musikverein.

The Samnium Symphony Orchestra was founded within the program of the Samnium University of Music, and is supported by European funds. Other programs of this University include laboratories, workshops, master classes, specializations, digital platforms for management and promotion of arts and culture, etc.
