Online lectures in the field of computer simulations with application in fluid mechanics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

Ciklus online predavanja iz oblasti kompjuterskih simulacija s primjenom u mehanici fluida na Mašinskom fakultetu

At the UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo, the cycle of online lectures by Prof. Milovan Perić, University of Duisburg-Essen and Prof. Suad Jakirlić, Technische Universitaet Darmstadt from the field of modeling and numerical methods in engineering, specifically in the field of computer fluid mechanics (Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD) will take place. The lectures are intended primarily for mechanical engineering students of senior years of study (II cycle of studies), but also for other interested students, as well as academic staff of technical and natural specializations. The lectures will deal with both the basics and advanced topics in the field of modern computer simulation technologies.

Professors Perić and Jakirlić are eminent scientists and experts with an international reputation. They will give lectures as part of the Diaspora for Development project led by the BiH Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees and the Swiss Government with the support of UNDP and IOM. This project seeks to strengthen and support the engagement in the transfer of knowledge of renowned scientists and experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina at home, who live and work abroad.

Lectures intended for a wider audience are recommended for interested students, doctoral students and staff of other faculties and universities, as well as staff from engineering practice. Interested students and colleagues from other faculties and institutions, who would like to attend the lectures, can contact us by e-mail at prodekannir@mef.unsa.ba  no later than the day before the desired lecture. Due to the limited possibilities of online transmission, we cannot guarantee access to all interested parties.
