Advancing Gender Perspectives in Library & Information Science Education

How can Library & Information Science education become more inclusive?
The Erasmus+ project entitled “Gender Diversity in Information Science: Challenges in Higher Education” consists of seven European universities (Universitat de Barcelona, Universität Hildesheim, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, Sveučilište u Zadru, Sveučilište Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku, Silesian University in Opava and University of Sarajevo), which has been working together to integrate gender perspectives into Library & Information Science (LIS) curricula.
Key outputs from Work Package 2:
✔️ Analysis of teaching plans for inclusivity in policies, learning outcomes, teaching methods, evaluation and gender balance in faculty composition and references.
✔️ Cross-national survey on teaching experiences, working conditions and institutional support.
