Presentation of award-winning student essays "The Legacy of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY)"

On 28  April 2021, a webinar was held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo, where the awarded student essays on the occasion of the faculty competition "The Legacy of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia" were presented. The webinar was organized by the Faculty of Law and the Association of Law Students (USP) with the support of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Courts. This is another in a series of events as part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo.

At the webinar, the awarded students Enida Dučić, Mirsad Ugarak, Amila Mrkonja and Nedim Kaliman presented their essays, followed by a discussion on complex issues of international criminal law. In their essays, and during the interviews, answering the questions asked, the awarded students showed an enviable level of knowledge, research enthusiasm and interest in legal studies in the broadest sense of the word.

The webinar was attended by students and members of the academic staff of the Faculty of Law.
