Trial Simulation before the European Court of Human Rights in cooperation with the Council of Europe Office in Sarajevo

Simulacija suđenja pred Europskim sudom za ljudska prava u suradnji s Uredom Vijeća Europe u Sarajevu

On 20 December 2019, at the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo, a simulation of the trial before the European Court of Human Rights was held within the Clinic for Human Rights, which was conducted by the Faculty of Law in cooperation with the Council of Europe Office in Sarajevo.
As part of the simulation, the Clinic participants demonstrated a good knowledge of the judiciary of the European Court of Human Rights, legal reasoning and argumentation, and very good rhetorical skills.
The simulation panel is comprised of Mrs. Monika Mijić, A.D. Council of Ministers of BiH representative before the European Court of Human Rights, Mr. Zvonko Mijan, Constitutional Court of BiH Registrar and Mirza Hebib, Faculty of Law in Sarajevo Assistant.
Doz. Dr. Midhat Izmirlija, Faculty of Law Vice-Dean thanked the Council of Europe Office for their successful cooperation and the fact that they recognized the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo as a partner in the implementation of such a project.
The clinic was realized within the project “Legal Security and Effective Justice Initiative in BiH” and with the financial support of the Government of the Kingdom of Norway.
