Bosnian language Open Lecture in Split

Tribina o bosanskom jeziku u Splitu

The Council of the Bosniak National Minority, City of Zagreb, in cooperation with the Council of the Bosniak National Minority of the City of Split, with the support of the UNSA Language Institute held an open lecture planned on the topic of Bosnian language and culture in several cities in Croatia. The aim of these lectures was to inform citizens originating from Bosnia and Herzegovina about the importance of organizing the teaching of the Bosnian language as C courses in primary and secondary schools and motivating them to organize and participate in this teaching.

The first Bosnian Language open lecture was held on 22 March 2018 in Split. The successful participation of the tribune contributed to the active participation of representatives of the city of Split and the Split-Dalmatia County, Mr. Slavko Zaja, advisor to the Mayor for Education and Science. The journalists of the Croatian Radio and Television were following the work of the Tribune, and the coverage of this tribune will be broadcast in the "Prizma" show.
