Announced cooperation between Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University and University of Sarajevo

The Tokat Gaziosmanpasa delegation from the University of Turkey led by the Rector Prof. Dr. Bünyamin Şahin visited the University of Sarajevo on 19 April 2019, where they were received by UNSA Rector Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolić.
During the meeting, the importance of interuniversity cooperation was discussed and possibilities for academic cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University, especially within the Erasmus+ and “Mevlana” exchange programs.
The aim was to promote academic, educational and cultural cooperation that would include networking and mutual exchange of teachers, researchers, students and other staff. Collaboration would involve joint projects, an exchange program involving academic staff and students, exchanging knowledge through lessons and materials, and other activities of common interest.
The meeting was concluded with the expressed readiness of the representatives of the University of Sarajevo and Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University for the realization of institutional cooperation and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and taking the necessary administrative procedures in the forthcoming period.
