The 10th International Congress of Teachers of German Language of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held at the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Philosophy on 11 and 12 October 2019.
The 10th Congress of German Teachers is organized by the Association of German Language Teachers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHDLV) in cooperation with the Educational and Pedagogical Institute of the Sarajevo Canton and sponsored by the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo.
The congress will be ceremonially opened at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo on Friday, 11 October 2019, 18:00. At the congress, prominent lecturers from regional and European universities are expected, as well as Ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Austria, German and Austrian institutions representatives in BiH and numerous other guests.
Throughout the two-day program, German language teachers will be offered lectures, workshops and presentations through which they will be able to improve and inform themselves and exchange experiences on current issues in the field of teaching methods in German.
The partners of this year's congress are: International Association of German Teachers (IDV), Austrian Cultural Forum, Austrian Ministry of Education and Science (BMBWF), Goethe Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austrian Institute (ÖI), Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Embassy of the Republic of Austria, German Academic Student and Young Scientist Exchange Service (DAAD), Buybook Publishing House, Hueber Publishing House, Deutsche Welle (DW), Austrian Language Diploma (ÖSD), Croatian Association of German Teachers and Teachers (KDV), Association of German Language Teachers of Serbia (SDV) ), The Central Office for Education Abroad (ZfA), the Austrian Student Exchange Service (OeAD) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
