Professor Emeritus Ray Bull visits UNSA Faculty of Criminology, Criminology and Security Studies

On 18 April 2022, the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, University of Sarajevo had the exceptional honor and pleasure to host Professor Emeritus Ray Bull, one of the world's most famous and recognized experts in the field of interrogation of suspects, interrogation of witnesses, interrogation witness memory, including voice recognition of persons. The distinguished professor was hosted by Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Sc. Jasmin Ahić, Vice Dean for Science Prof. Dr. Sc. Lada Sadiković, Prof. Dr. Sc. Irma Deljkić and senior assistant Dr. Sc. Adnan Fazlić. During the visit, Professor Emeritus Bull had the opportunity to get acquainted with the current activities, projects and resources available to the Faculty, as well as possible forms of mutual cooperation.

According to Stanford University and Elsevier publishing house, Professor Emeritus Ray Bull, based on the number of published scientific papers and citation index, enters 2% (throughout his scientific career) and 4% (for 2019) of the world's best scientists. During his career, he performed a number of important functions, including the position of President of the European Association for Psychology and Law. He has won numerous recognitions and awards for his contribution to the development of psychology, forensic psychology and investigative interviewing awarded by the British Association of Psychologists and the International Group for the Study of Investigative Interviewing. He was awarded special recognition by the London Metropolitan Police for his innovative and professional contribution to clarifying a complex rape case.
