Participation of the University of Sarajevo in the UNIART conference

University of Sarajevo representatives participated in a large UNIART conference held online from 27 to 29 October for the first time. This conference is actually the beginning of future cooperation between China and Southeast Europe in the field of performing arts and film.

The conference was attended by major Chinese universities in the field of film and performing arts (Communication University of China and Central Academy of Drama in Beijing, Shanghai Theater Academy and Shanghai University, Shandong University and Shandong Normal University in Jinan, Southeast University in Nanjing, and Hebei Academy of Fine Arts from Shijiazhuang Partners from Southeast Europe were: University of Novi Sad from Serbia, University of Montenegro, University of Banja Luka, National Academy of Prof. Pancho Vladigerov from Bulgaria, University of Art and Design from Timisoara, Romania and University of Sarajevo with the Academy of Performing Arts.

Representatives of the University of Sarajevo were the UNSA Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Enita Nakaš, Vice Dean for International Cooperation, Research and Artistic Work, Academy of Performing Arts Prof. Dr. Elma Tataragić, and Vice Dean for Production and Finance. Prof. MA. Faruk Lončarević and the presentation of the University of Sarajevo and the Academy of Performing Arts was held on Wednesday, 27 October.

This conference is the first meeting of these universities in a series planned, and the goal is to establish permanent cooperation between major Chinese universities and universities in Southeast Europe.
