Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies Dean visited the Minister of the Interior of the ZDK

On 20 November 2020, UNSA Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies Dean, Prof. Dr. Jasmin Ahić with associates visited the Ministry of the Interior in Zenica, where he was received and hosted by the Minister of the Interior of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Mr. Dario Pekić, with his closest associates. The aim of the working visit was to analyze the results achieved so far and find modalities for further deepening and expanding mutual, extremely successful cooperation between the two institutions in terms of implementation of the Memorandum of Professional, Educational and Scientific Cooperation, which are representatives of the Ministry of Interior and studies of the University of Sarajevo signed in February 2015.
To remind, the Memorandum on Professional, Educational and Scientific Cooperation established partnerships between the signatory parties in the field of professional, educational and scientific research. The cooperation includes the exchange of theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in the application of legal solutions in the field of criminal legislation, as well as the exchange of achieved results in the implementation of detecting and proving criminal offenses from the criminal and criminological aspect, in the concept of prosecutorial-police cooperation in processing cases before the court and analyzing the crime in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the meeting between Minister Pekić and Professor Ahić, mutual satisfaction was expressed with the current dynamics of the implementation of the Memorandum on Professional, Educational and Scientific Cooperation and announced even more intensive cooperation on the implementation of a number of new joint projects that will have a positive impact on science and research on the overall security of the citizens of Zenica-Doboj Canton and their property.
