Eminent teakwondo coach Hong Seung Ki visited UNSA Faculty of Sports and Physical Education

On 11 November 2021, the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, University of Sarajevo was visited by a guest from the Republic of Korea, Mr. Hong Seung Ki, an eminent teakwondo coach. On that occasion, the Vice-Rector for Art, Artistic Research, Culture and Sports, University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Tamara Karača Beljak and a professor of the UNSA Academy of Music, Prof. Dr. Yeon Ju Jeong. On behalf of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, the distinguished guests were received by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Haris Alić and Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Quality Assurance, Prof. Dr. Munir Talović. This friendly visit was attended in front of the Office for International Cooperation FASTO by Prof. Dr. Slavenko Likić and Mr. Sci. Slobodan Klačar, while in front of the Department of Martial Arts were present Prof. Dr. Husnija Kajmović, Prof. Dr. Safet Kapo, Prof. Dr. Amel Mekić and Ass. mr. Merima Merdan. During this visit, the possibilities of academic and professional-sports cooperation of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of UNSA with the academic and sports institutions of the Republic of Korea were discussed. It was also agreed that Mr. Hong Seung Ki will hold several professional teakwondo workshops at the UNSA Faculty of Sports and Physical Education in the upcoming period.
