Egyptian mufti visits the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, University of Sarajevo

As part of a three-day official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egyptian Mufti Shevki Ibrahim Abdulkerim Musa Allam visited the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and gave a lecture "The role of modern Muslims in facing challenges." He was accompanied by the esteemed ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, H. E. Yasser Sorour. The lecture was attended by the esteemed Bosnian mufti Dr. Hussein ef. Kavazović, former Bosnian mufti Prof. Dr. Mustafa ef. Cerić, Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Zuhdija Hasanović, Vice-Deans, Faculty teaching staff, as well as numerous students. The audience was welcomed by Prof. Dr. hfz. Aid Smajić, and on behalf of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, expressed gratitude to His Excellency for coming and giving a lecture. After the lecture, a formal reception was organized in the dean's office, where gifts were handed out.
