Valida Abdagić Appointed University of Sarajevo Student-Vice-Rector

A working meeting was held between Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, University of Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, and Valida Abdagić, newly appointed Student-Vice-Rector on 14  April 2014.

Valida Abdagić is a fifth year student of integrated studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Sarajevo.
At the proposal of the Student Parliament of the University of Sarajevo, the Decision on the appointment of Valida Abdagić as a student-vice-rector was made by the Senate of the University of Sarajevo at the 25th electronic session held on 31 March 2021. 

The student vice-rector performs the following tasks:

• proposes measures for improving the student standard and monitors the situation in that area,
• coordinates the work of student vice-deans and holds regular meetings with them,
• chairs the work of the student vice-dean council at the University,
• performs other tasks related to student issues in the manner determined by the Law on Higher Education of KS and the Statute of the University of Sarajevo.

The term of office of the student-vice-rector lasts one year, with the possibility of another consecutive election.
