The 14th Congress of German Language Teachers

The German Language Teachers Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHDLV) on 14 and 15 October 2023 organizes the 14th Congress of German Language Teachers under the motto “Culture in Focus,” and under the auspices of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo.

The plenary lecture will maintain the renowned Prof. Dr. Claus Altmayer, University of Leipzig from Germany. Lecturers and referents of the congress come from various institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, region and German-speaking areas. The Congress is intended for teachers and professors of primary and secondary schools, as well as teachers, associates and students of the German Department.

The sponsors of the Congress are the Faculty of Philosophy, and the International Association of German Language Teachers, the Goethe Institute, the Embassy of the Republic of Austria, the Embassy of the Swiss Sarajevo, Germany Academic Student Exchange Service Youth scientists (DAAD), BuyBook, Publishing House Hueber, Deutsche Welle (Dew), Austrian Education Office abroad (ZFA) and the Ministry of Education, Science and Research of the Republic of Austria (BMBWF).

The opening ceremony will be held in the Grand Amphitheater Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo on 14 October 2023 at 09:30.
