UNSA Faculty of Political Sciences students on a study visit to Ljubljana

Political Sciences Department Students (Governance and International Relations and Diplomacy), UNSA Faculty of Political Sciences were in a study visit to Ljubljana on 29 November 2019 with Senior Assistant M.Sc. Jasmin Hasanović.
During their stay in Ljubljana, students visited the Parliament (National Assembly) of Slovenia, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of the political and legal order of Slovenia, the manner of work and decision-making in the Parliament, the relations between the executive, legislative and judicial authorities in Slovenia, and lastly, during a tour of the Parliament building and briefly attend the 29th Parliament extraordinary session concerning the amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Act and the Labor Market Regulation Act. In this way, the students managed to connect some characteristics, similarities and differences between the political system of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia, raising questions and coming up with new insights in this context.
After that, a visit to the Črnuče Youth Center was organized, through which students were able to see how the City of Ljubljana deals with specific issues, needs and demands of young people at the local level.
The next day, on 30 November 2019, upon returning to Sarajevo, a short visit to Zagreb was organized.
