Faculty of Veterinary Medicine became a member of the American Association of Veterinary Medicine Colleges - AAVMC

The American Association of Veterinary Medicine Colleges (AAVMC), as the umbrella organization for veterinary higher education in the United States, coordinates and promotes excellence in veterinary education, developing the diversity of the veterinary profession, professional profiling of veterinary medicine doctors, empowering One Health access and further advancement through research support. In addition to bringing together all US veterinary medicine colleges, AAVMC membership has 5 veterinary medicine colleges in Canada, 12 departments of veterinary science and comparative medicine in the US and 30 veterinary colleges outside the US.
At the AAVMC Annual Meeting in Washington, 6-8 March, a proposal of the UNSA Faculty of Veterinary Medicine to join was accepted and The Faculty became the ninth AAVMC European member.
